Your Role:
As the HR Manager for our client, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing HR strategies that align with their goals. You’ll manage all areas of HR, with an emphasis on learning and development, labor relations, and fostering a positive organizational culture. This role requires a proactive and strategic mindset to guide teams, resolve workplace issues, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement employee relations strategies to address and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
Oversee compliance with industry regulations and labor laws while managing risk and ensuring adherence to company policies.
Lead organizational change management efforts, supporting company transformations and employee adaptation.
Handle grievances and disciplinary actions in line with company procedures and legal requirements.
Create and deliver internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged.
Develop learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational performance.
Participate in collective bargaining negotiations and manage labor relations effectively.
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions.
Administer performance management programs and salary structures.
Utilize HRIS systems to streamline HR processes and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Professional HR certification (e.g., CPHR, CHRP, CHRL) is required.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate within a decentralized HR team.
Experience in learning and development, including creating and delivering training programs.
Knowledge of labor relations, including collective bargaining and grievance resolution.
Familiarity with employment law and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and managing organizational change initiatives.
